I wanted to design our Christmas cards and thought it would only take me about an hour to get them completed. I was wrong... but still pleased how they came out.
2009 Christmas Card

My father-in-law is really into art. I thought he would really like having a painting in his place.

You WhooOOoo!!!!

What have I've been up to the last few weeks? Well I'll tell you!
As most of you all know I just started selling my paintings just a few months ago. I’m still learning and trying to figure out the best way to sell them. I really wasn't sure how everything was going to work out when I decided to do this. I’ve successfully sold five paintings within the last two months. It's been exciting! Finding the time to get them completed has been a bit challenging but I've managed to find the time with lots of coffee and very late nights:) I couldn't do any of this without the support of my wonderful friends, family and my husband. The encouragement and support has helped me in so many ways throughout this journey.
We have been working in our loft for the last week. My work space is in that room. The loft needed some help! The lighting wasn’t very good and it was very cluttered. It made it difficult to think and be creative. Very important! So leave it up to my wonderful husband to do something about it. With just a few new lamps, closing the loft with the help of my father-in-law and rearranging the room is making it a perfect new work space. The room is still under construction but it's close to being completed. I'll post pictures once were done!
I can’t wait to see what the new year is going to bring. I am really excited! I have so many ideas and can’t wait to share them with you.
Wishing you and your family A Happy New Year!

About a month ago I had received an email from a client that touched my heart. She wanted to surprise her husband with a gift for their 10 year anniversary. I was touched by their story and so thrilled that I was able to be apart of this. She wanted me to use fall colors because it represents their marriage and friendship. What a beautiful and strong couple they are. I am so happy to have met them.
